Payment at a convenience store

(1)Tax category:house tax, land value tax, vehicle license tax, land value increment tax, stamp tax, deed tax, and amusement tax that are listed on bar-coded local taxes payment notifications and bar-coded overdue payment notices.

(2)Applicable period:

  1. The due date as listed on the payment notification for various taxes.
  2. Administrative enforcement overdue taxes: according to the date on the overdue notification.


(3)Timing:Three days after the due date (at midnight). For administrative overdue, penalties, and amusement tax, one day after the due date. (at midnight)

(4)Payment locations:  Hi-Life, Family Mart, 7-ELEVEN, and OK convenience stores.

(5)Payment method:Payment in cash. Limited to up to NT$30,000 per payment.

(6)Handling charge:Paid by the local tax collection authorities.

(7)Notice:The convenience store shall print the transaction details, affix the store stamp on the payment notification (receipt stub), and give these and other copies or payment notifications back to the taxpayer.

※Multimedia kiosks print and pay bills

​(1)Tax category:Periodic taxes such as house tax, land value tax, vehicle license tax.

(2)Applicable period:Five calendar days prior to payment period and within 3 days after the tax due date.

(3)Verification method:Log in with the Taxpayer's Citizen Digital Certificate No., MOEA Certification Authority No., NHI Card No., T-FIDO Mobile Certificate No., or enter ID Card No./Uniform Business No. + Car Number. (limited to Vehicle License Tax)

(4)Prescription: Please pay at the counter on the same day the Kiosk prints the payment slip. (At 7-ELEVEN, payment must be made within one hour of printing)

(5)Payment location:Hi-Life, Family Mart, 7-ELEVEN and OK convenience stores.

(6)Payment method:Payment in cash. Limited to up to NT$30,000 per payment.

(7)Handling charge:Paid by the local tax collection authorities.

(8)Notes:The convenience store shall print the transaction details, affix the store stamp on the payment notification (receipt stub). If the certificate does not provide details of the tax paid, the local tax collection authorities will issue and send by post a complete certificate of payment.
